Samaritan's Feet takes part in Tools for Schools event

On Saturday July 24th, Samaritan’s Feet participated in the Tools for Schools event hosted by Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Carmel, Indiana.  The day was dedicated to providing children in need with school supplies, clothes, and snacks in preparation for the new school year. 

In addition to the supplies given out at Saturday’s event, Samaritan’s Feet provided 600 pairs of new athletic shoes and socks to the children in attendance. The 100 volunteers present helped distribute the shoes as well as wash the feet of the children and shared with them a message of hope and encouragement.
 
Katie Kremer,Co-chair of the Tools for School event, reflected on the day saying, “It was awesome to be a part of such an amazing ministry.  My mind keeps going over the faces and the stories and the whole day.”
